Great Day Improvements - Marketing Content Coordinator

We’re looking for an organized, detail-oriented Marketing Content Coordinator to join our growing team at Great Day Improvements!

In this role, you’ll support our Content Center of Excellence by coordinating digital content across multiple brands, ensuring projects stay organized, accurate, and on schedule. You’ll help manage content requests, calendars, publishing, approvals, digital assets, and communication between brand and channel partners.

This is a hands-on content coordination and execution role, rather than a marketing strategy or primary content creation position. You'll develop a strong understanding of our brands, products, services, and messaging to help identify inaccuracies, anticipate content needs, and improve processes.

Location: Cincinnati, OH (Hybrid – Champion Window HQ in Sharonville)

Reports to: Director of Brand & Creative Operations

Pay Range: $23.00–$25.00 per hour

Responsibilities

Content Workflow & Delivery

  • Coordinate content requests from intake through assignment, asset collection, review, approval, publication, and closeout, ensuring clear deliverables, ownership, priorities, and deadlines.

  • Maintain content calendars, project trackers, approval statuses, and publishing schedules, proactively identifying overdue tasks, missing information, and workflow risks.

  • Manage handoffs between Brand & Creative Operations, brand marketing, Organic Growth & Reputation, Owned Digital Experience, and channel owners to ensure timely delivery and prevent delays.

Publishing & Quality Assurance

  • Schedule and publish approved content across organic social media, websites, blogs, Google Business Profiles, and other digital platforms, following approved timelines and channel requirements.

  • Conduct pre- and post-publication quality checks for spelling, grammar, formatting, links, calls to action, imagery, promotional details, product/service information, brand terminology, and claims accuracy against approved sources.

  • Develop knowledge of each brand's products, services, differentiators, and approved messaging to identify inaccuracies, recommend corrections, and escalate unverified claims or compliance concerns.

Digital Asset & Content Operations

  • Upload, tag, categorize, and organize approved photos, videos, graphics, and other files within the enterprise digital asset management system, ensuring accurate naming, version control, and searchability.

  • Maintain accurate records of content requests, approvals, completed deliverables, and publishing activity, providing stakeholders with timely status updates and basic activity reports.

  • Identify recurring workflow bottlenecks, missed handoffs, and rework, recommending process improvements to increase content throughput and visibility.

Metrics & Reporting

  • Compile monthly brand performance reports tracking organic marketing metrics across channels, identifying notable changes, trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Summarize findings and recommend actionable opportunities to guide content optimization and future marketing initiatives.

Qualifications

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

  • Strong organization, prioritization, follow-through, and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines across brands.
  • Strong proofreading and written communication skills, including the judgment to distinguish routine corrections from issues that require escalation.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders, communicate status clearly, and proactively follow up on missing information or approvals.
  • Working proficiency with Microsoft 365 and spreadsheet- or tracker-based project coordination.
  • Basic understanding of digital publishing and SEO concepts, with willingness to learn each brand’s products, services, customer experience, and approved messaging as part of ongoing quality assurance.

Preferred

  • Familiarity with content management systems, social scheduling platforms, project management tools, Google Business Profile workflows, or digital asset management systems.

Education and Experience:

  • Relevant internship, academic, or professional experience supporting marketing, communications, digital content, project coordination, or a similar function; recent graduates with comparable hands-on experience may be considered.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience. (Preferred)

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting and working at a computer, with frequent use of standard office technology.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively in a hybrid or remote work environment, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Success Measures:

Success in this role will be demonstrated through:

  • Approved content is scheduled or published by committed deadlines, with content calendars and project trackers kept current and accurate.
  • Preventable errors, especially inaccurate product/service information, unapproved claims, incorrect promotional details, broken links, and missed approvals, are minimized and promptly corrected or escalated.
  • Stakeholders receive timely status updates, and overdue tasks or workflow bottlenecks are escalated early enough to protect delivery dates.
  • Digital assets are consistently organized, accurately labeled, version-controlled, and readily searchable in the enterprise DAM.
  • Content request, approval, publication, and activity records are complete enough to support reliable operational reporting and process improvement.
