Responsibilities

Regional Marketing Leadership

  • Develop and execute regional marketing strategies aligned with company growth goals, market priorities, and sales capacity.
  • Translate enterprise marketing direction into clear market-level plans, priorities, and execution standards.
  • Monitor overall regional health through performance dashboards, media analytics, field feedback, and market-level trends.

Sales and Field Alignment

  • Partner with regional and local sales leaders to understand lead demand, sales capacity, conversion trends, and market-specific needs.
  • Maintain consistent feedback loops with sales and field marketing leaders to evaluate lead volume, lead quality, and the effectiveness of current marketing activity.
  • Identify gaps between lead flow and sales capacity and proactively adjust market plans, channel mix, timing, or spend.
  • Ensure marketing activity remains responsive to changing business conditions while maintaining disciplined execution and accountability.

Planning, Budgeting, and Strategy

  • Collaborate with the VP of Marketing and internal marketing leadership to develop regional goals, plans, forecasts, and budgets.
  • Manage regional budget allocation and spending across markets, channels, lead sources, and marketing programs.
  • Evaluate tradeoffs and redirect investment based on performance, sales capacity, seasonality, and market opportunity.
  • Contribute regional insights, lessons learned, and best practices to broader marketing strategy discussions.

Resource and Vendor Management

  • Direct and coordinate internal marketing team members, field marketing leaders, agencies, lead providers, and other external partners to execute regional plans.
  • Set clear expectations, priorities, timelines, and performance standards for internal and external partners.
  • Evaluate vendor performance, lead quality, responsiveness, compliance, and return on investment.
  • Address performance gaps promptly and recommend changes to resources, vendors, or investment when needed.

Performance Analysis and Optimization

  • Create, monitor, and analyze regional marketing reports, media metrics, lead-generation KPIs, and return-on-investment measures.
  • Assess performance by market, channel, vendor, lead source, and campaign to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Translate data into clear recommendations and action plans for marketing, sales, and business leaders.
  • Monitor results after changes are implemented and continue refining plans based on measured outcomes.

Cross-Functional Leadership and Communication

  • Serve as a reliable and responsive marketing partner to sales, field, and operational leaders across the region.
  • Communicate regional performance, risks, decisions, and resource needs clearly to marketing and business leadership.
  • Build alignment across teams with different priorities and use data, sound judgment, and influence to move decisions forward.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

  • Deep knowledge of performance marketing, direct-response marketing, lead-generation strategy, and the full lead-to-sale funnel, including marketing KPIs, media measurement, attribution, budgeting, and return-on-investment analysis.
  • Strong analytical and business judgment with the ability to identify the underlying business issue behind performance data, translate findings into practical action, and balance growth, lead quality, sales capacity, cost, and customer experience.
  • Ability to manage marketing strategies, budgets, performance, and competing priorities across multiple locations or markets while aligning marketing investment with sales capacity, conversion performance, and local business conditions.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence and build alignment among internal marketing teams, sales and field leaders, agencies, lead providers, vendors, and executive stakeholders within a matrixed, geographically dispersed organization.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, prioritization, and decision-making skills; proficiency with marketing analytics, reporting, and CRM platforms; and ability to travel approximately 25% based on regional business needs.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field strongly preferred; master’s degree or equivalent graduate-level business education preferred.
  • Five or more years of experience in performance marketing, direct-response marketing, lead-generation management, or a closely related discipline required.

  • Build a consistent operating cadence with sales and field marketing leaders for reviewing demand, capacity, performance, and required actions.
