Great Day Improvements - Project Manager- Strategic Initiatives & Integration

 

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Project Manager to lead and support high-impact projects across acquisitions, integrations, product and program development, along with other strategic initiatives. This role requires a strong blend of strategic thinking, operational execution, and cross-functional collaboration and leadership.


This person will interact with every level and part of the organization and must be able to ‘connect-dots’, identify obstacles and work through objections.

 

Pay Range: $125,000 - $140,000 per year

Responsibilities

Acquisitions & Integrations
• Lead project planning and execution for M&A activities, including due diligence, integration planning, and post-close onboarding and execution with direction from the Chief Transformation Officer.
• Collaborate with legal, finance, HR, IT, Marketing, and business unit leaders and their designees, to ensure seamless integration of acquired entities.
• Track and report on integration milestones, obstacles, risks, and outcomes.

 

Product and Program Development
• Partner with product, engineering, and marketing teams to manage timelines, scope, and deliverables for new product or program initiatives.
• Facilitate cross-functional alignment and remove roadblocks to ensure timely launches.
• Monitor KPIs and feedback loops to support continuous improvement.

 

Strategic & Special Projects
• Drive execution of high-priority, cross-functional initiatives aligned with company strategy.
• Develop project charters, timelines, and stakeholder communication plans.
• Provide executive-level reporting and insights on project status, risks, and outcomes.
• This role requires a collaborative, adaptable leader who thrives in an evolving environment and can translate strategic vision into executable plans while fostering a culture of accountability and innovation

 

Leadership, Influence & Risk Mitigation
• The Project Manager will act as a change leader, building alignment, managing stakeholder expectations, and facilitating decision-making to ensure adoption and sustainability of project outcomes.
• Proactively identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Anticipate cross-functional challenges and drive solutions that maintain project momentum.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (MBA or PMP a plus).
• 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in M&A, product development, or strategic operations.
• Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.


This position may require occasional travel to acquisition sites or other facilities (up to 20%).

 

Preferred Skills:
• Experience with post-merger integration (PMI) or corporate development.
• Familiarity with Stage-Gate, Agile or hybrid project management methodologies.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Asana, Smartsheet, Jira, MS Project).
