National Sunroom Installer Trainer

Champion Window - Sunroom Trainer

As the Sunroom Installation Trainer, you will demonstrate and instruct Champion installers on the installation of Sunrooms including walls, windows, roofs, support structures, and doors.  Up to 90% travel with travel required Sunday through Friday

• Travel to division and division job site locations and train installers across the country, to ensure a Champion quality installation. Travel in Sunday evenings, returning to home base Friday afternoon.
• Instruct and demonstrate proper installation procedures, ensuring that decks and Sunrooms are built plumb, square, and comply with Champion engineering specifications as well as regulatory code requirements.
• Assist with the documentation, planning, scheduling, and holding classes at both Champion University and in Division offices.
• Instruct installers on how to complete an installation job safely, and in accordance with Champion’s safety procedures.
• Support local and regional teams with warehouse organization and inventory counts.
• Complete weekly job reports of weeks’ accomplishments.
• Support sunroom re-measures
• Complete monthly expense reports.

• Prior experience in construction and skilled labor involving carpentry, roofing, window installation, use of a brake as well as hand tools such as a utility knife, hammer, deglazing tools, etc.
• Clean driving record with the ability to regularly drive vehicle to divisions and customer job sites.
• Ability to lift and carry an average of 40 lbs and up to 80 lbs, and 80-125 lbs with the assistance of another, in addition to walking/standing for about 6 hours a day.
• Ability to climb stairs and/or climb ladders while carrying applicable materials.
• Basic arithmetic abilities using including using a tape measure.
• Ability to teach safety conscientiousness.
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
