We are looking for a motivated executive to head up our marketing function for two growing brands - Your Home Improvement Company (YHIC), K-Designers. In this role you will execute marketing and communications strategies in a manner that supports consistent business growth, drives lead generation, and enhances brand equity and awareness. This person will also be responsible for implementing and managing all direct marketing, advertising, and online marketing functions to achieve the brand’s objectives of sales, growth, profitability, and visibility, working closely with internal marketing agencies. Responsibilities

• Drive Appointment Generation through both online and offline marketing efforts including local broadcast and cable TV, local radio, direct mail, newspaper, etc. Assess the ROI of these effort through cost-per-appointment, ad ratio and other metrics.
• Lead marketing operations/execution, customer acquisition, customer retention, partnership marketing, and creative production, working with Enterprise resources to leverage buying power and standardized business planning and performance tools.
• In collaboration with Great Day digital team, help drive digital marketing initiatives including SEM, SEO, PPL (pay per lead), Social and Local.
• Communicate with the call center leaders to maximize lead generation efforts and results.
• Drive the day-to-day execution and improvement of the marketing plan to achieve targeted objectives.
• Develop unique value propositions, business partnerships, category management, as well as call to action-oriented advertising targeted toward targeted key customer segments that increase brand awareness.
• Provide leadership and guidance in the design and production of all aspects of visual marketing needs (including broadcast/TV production initiatives, i.e., annual production of TV spots), print, video and digital assets, leveraging internal creative director and external agency resources as necessary.
• Track metrics and success criteria for all marketing programs and activities and strategies to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of marketing programs, communicate necessary adjustments to the internal agencies and drive action plans.
• Analyze market research, customer satisfaction, consumer ratings and reviews, and track marketing trends to determine competitiveness and capitalize on opportunities.
• Coach, mentor and develop the overall marketing team.
• Performs other duties as directed.

Qualifications

• Superior execution and organizational skills with a hands-on style.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business required; MBA is a plus.
• Demonstrate the ability to execute and implement a comprehensive marketing plan measured by effective metrics and business processes.
• Understand changing market dynamics, translating them into actionable plans and implementing the strategy to achieve pre-set objectives.
• Must have excellent project management, communications, and presentations skills.
• Ability to balance brand strategy and execution of the marketing plan to deliver both well.
• Must be a change agent.
• Ability to build rapport and relationships with all key stakeholders including the executive team, other marketing leaders, the regional managers, the division managers, and other key strategic partners.
• Integrate and align the department’s goals with the overall company goals to drive growth.
• Strong Microsoft Office Suite or related software to prepare reports and policies and present well communicated data analytics in collaboration with our businesses.

 

Education and Experience:
• 10 or more years of senior leadership experience in direct-to-consumer lead generation, digital, and marketing management
• Proven track record of increase appointment generation and tracking the ROI of each media source.
• Thorough knowledge of marketing principles, product or service management, sales, call center and partnership development.

Physical Requirements:
• Travel at least 30% of the time is key.
• Prolonged periods sitting working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at a time.

Initial Priorities:
• Carry out strategic marketing plans for both brands with the Chief Growth Officer.
• Develop talent and identify needs and opportunities to partner across brands and marketing.
