As the Vice President, Brand Leader, you will drive strategic growth and brand development for their assigned brand, reporting directly to the Division President. This role requires a dynamic leader who can leverage Great Day Improvements (Great Day) resources and implement the Great Day Way business model to enhance brand performance. The VP will collaborate closely with divisional teams, shared services, and other brands to build a robust, high-performing operation while maintaining a strong connection to the company's values and culture.

Responsibilities

  1. Brand Leadership and Growth:
    Develop and implement strategies to build and strengthen the assigned brand, driving revenue growth and enhancing profitability. Align all efforts with the Great Day Way business model.
  2. Stakeholder Collaboration:
    Establish strong relationships and leadership during the transition, working closely with the brand founder and current CFO to ensure a smooth handover and continuity of vision.
  3. Team Development:
    Assess current team capabilities, identify talent needs, and build a high-performing team aligned with the 2025 strategic plan. Focus on professional development and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous learning.
  4. Operational Excellence:
    Utilize Great Day resources to optimize brand-specific processes and deliver operational improvements. Identify areas for efficiency gains and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  5. Cross-Brand Partnerships:
    Foster collaboration with peer brands and across Great Day divisions to share best practices, enhance operational efficiency, and drive collective performance improvements in both revenue and EBITDA.
  6. Strategic Planning and Execution:
    Provide strategic input and leadership to deliver on the 2025 plan for the assigned brand. Monitor performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed to achieve financial and operational goals.
  7. Financial Management:
    Oversee the brand's financial performance, including P&L responsibility. Develop and manage budgets, ensuring effective cash flow and accounts receivable management.
  8. Customer-Centric Approach:
    Enhance customer experience and satisfaction metrics. Implement initiatives to build trust and deliver exceptional service, reinforcing the brand’s reputation.
  9. Data-Driven Leadership:
    Utilize data analytics to inform decision-making and track progress against key performance indicators. Develop team capabilities in leveraging data for continuous improvement.
  10. Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
    Drive a culture of innovation within the brand, seeking new opportunities for growth and operational enhancements. Encourage teams to embrace change with a focus on performance and trust.

Key Performance Metrics:

  • Achieve or exceed revenue targets for the assigned brand, driving annual top-line growth of at least 15%.
  • Manage P&L to meet or surpass EBITDA goals.
  • Enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Effectively manage cash flow and accounts receivable.

Initial Priorities:

  1. Relationship and Leadership Establishment:
    Build strong connections with the brand’s founder, CFO, and key stakeholders during the transition phase.
  2. 2025 Strategic Plan Execution:
    Assess and refine the current plan to ensure alignment with divisional and Great Day objectives. Execute strategies to deliver on the 2025 goals for the assigned brand.
  3. Cross-Brand Collaboration Opportunities:
    Identify and implement initiatives to partner with peer brands and leverage Great Day resources for enhanced performance

Qualifications

  • Proven leadership experience with P&L responsibility, preferably in a direct-to-consumer or home remodeling environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Strong understanding of brand development, operational management, and strategic planning.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage teams, drive continuous improvement, and implement data-driven strategies.
  • Experience navigating complex organizational structures and fostering cross-functional collaboration.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on innovation and growth.
