Universal Windows Direct - Field Marketing Display Quality Control Specialist

 

As the Field Marketing Display Quality Control Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the field marketing teams for GDI brands, including Universal Windows Direct, The Bath Authority. This position ensures that all displays for home shows, events, fairs, festivals, malls, and retail locations are created, maintained, and ready for use. The role also includes logistical planning, on-site setup and teardown, and troubleshooting to maintain high-quality marketing presentations.

Responsibilities

1. Creation

  • Design and build new displays tailored to marketing needs and event types.
  • Collaborate with field marketing teams to align display designs with branding and promotional strategies.
  • Source and procure materials for display construction, ensuring durability and visual appeal.

2. Maintenance

  • Inspect, refurbish, and renovate existing displays to ensure optimal functionality and aesthetics.
  • Maintain a schedule for routine inspections, repairs, and updates to displays.
  • Address any issues promptly to avoid disruptions during events.

3. Organization

  • Develop and implement a system for display storage, security, and transportation.
  • Ensure displays are accounted for and ready for deployment to events, fairs, and retail locations.
  • Coordinate logistics for moving displays to and from storage or event sites.

4. Event and Field Support

  • Support field marketing teams for GDI brands at home shows, events, fairs, festivals, malls, and retail locations.
  • Travel approximately 30% of the time to assist with key events across CLE, MIL, IND, RAL, MIN, and STL.
  • Handle the setup and teardown of displays as required, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
  • Provide on-site quality control, troubleshooting, and support during events.

Qualifications

  • Experience in marketing, event coordination, or display management preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with display creation, maintenance, or craftsmanship is a plus.

Skills

  • Strong organizational and logistical planning abilities.
  • Proficiency with tools and materials for display construction and repair.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as required.
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends during major events.
