THIS POSITION IS IN OFFICE 

Summary: The Buyer is responsible for purchasing goods and services necessary for the company’s operations. Purchases can include materials, equipment, supplies, and services of a specialized or complex nature, in compliance with purchasing policies and procedures. Designs and implements cost effective strategies related to purchasing in an organization. Reviews and analyzes purchase requisitions, evaluates methods for and recommends improvements in processing of purchase requisitions, and monitors change orders.

Essential Functions:

• Maintain and develop relationships with existing suppliers.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand their purchasing needs and requirements.
• Manage the procurement process from requisition to delivery and payment, ensuring timely fulfillment of orders.
• Monitor market trends, pricing, and supplier performance to make informed purchasing decisions.
• Resolve any issues or disputes with suppliers regarding quality, delivery, or invoicing.
• Attends meetings as assigned for the purpose of conveying and/or gathering information required to meet company’s objectives.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
• Utilize procurement software and systems to track purchases, manage supplier information, and generate reports.

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, economics, or related field preferred.
• Minimum one year of Procurement experience preferably in manufacturing
• Ability to build effective relationships with suppliers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel, PowerPoint).
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of procurement best practices and markets trends.
