Now Hiring Glass Cutter Manufacturing Associates - 1st Shift

Great Day Improvements / Champion Windows

$16.00 to $18.00 per hour

 

Great Day Improvements / Champion Windows is looking for Glass Cutter, you will use automated glass cutting machinery to cut glass into specified dimensions ahead of the assembly process. You will need to be able to work in a faced-paced environment, dependable and committed to learning and excelling in this role. Shift: Mon-Thurs (10 hour shifts) ) / Overtime worked on Friday. This is a full-time position join our growing team today!

Responsibilities

  • Ability to read production schedule
  • Operate Glass Cutting Machinery (GED Experience a plus)
  • Basic computer knowledge to run machinery
  • Records production and scrap quantities.
  • Basic problem-solving abilities
  • Additional duties as needed.

Qualifications

  • HS diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education & relevant experience required, trade school background or manufacturing experience preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to work overtime – Friday is our overtime day
  • Basic math skills related to measuring / verifying dimensions
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Excellent hand / eye coordination / following written and verbal instructions
  • Able to understand and comply with all company policies and procedures
  • Solid attendance record
