K-Designers - Operations Manager
As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the production Department, ensuring efficient production processes, quality control, and adherence to safety protocols. This role involves managing a team, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring that production targets are met on time and within budget.
Pay Range: $85,000 - $95,000 per year
· Operational Planning: Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to improve efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
· Production Planning: Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer orders and forecast demands while optimizing resources and minimizing downtime.
· Team Management: Lead, coach, and motivate the production team to achieve high performance levels. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide training and development opportunities.
· Quality Control: Ensure that products meet quality standards and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency.
· Process Optimization: Analyze production processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement. Implement best practices to increase efficiency.
· Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods. Coordinate with procurement to ensure materials are available for production without excessive stockpiling.
· Budget Management: Manage production budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-efficiency in production processes.
· Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Promote a culture of safety and conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.
· Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and present regular reports on production performance, including output, quality, and efficiency metrics. Use data to drive decision-making and process improvements.
· Job Scheduling: Coordinate installations with clients and installation teams.
· Materials Ordering: Accurate and timely ordering off all materials to ensure client satisfaction and short cycle times.
· Installer Labor Bills: Review and process labor bills for each installation while following company procedures for accurate and timely payment.
· Ability to stand, walk, and move around the production floor for extended periods of time (up to 8-10 hours).
· Frequent walking between different departments and workstations.
· Occasional lifting or moving of materials or equipment up to 25-50 lbs (depending on the work environment).
· Carrying documents, reports, or tools to different locations within the facility.
· Ability to operate machinery controls, computer systems, and various office and production equipment.
· Use of hands and fingers for handling tools or equipment, especially when troubleshooting machines or processes.
· Ability to read and interpret documents, drawings, blueprints, and computer screens with clarity.
· Close visual work, such as monitoring production lines, inspecting products for quality, and reviewing reports.
· Occasionally required to bend, kneel, stoop, or climb ladders/stairs to inspect equipment or reach work areas
